Kellie Martin is the American actress and filmmaker popularly known for her roles for her role as Christy Huddleston in the period drama 'Christy", Rebecca Thatcher on the family drama Life Goes On> and Lucy Knight for the medical drama ER. Her other roles of note include the title role of her role in the Hailey Dean Mystery series. Martin was born to a department shop buyer and a kindergarten instructor. She began acting at seven years old when her Aunt, who was the nanny of Michael Landon's household, assisted Martin to be an actor on the 1982 television series Father Murphy. In the years following the time of her Yale University graduation, she began to concentrate on acting and was able to land substantial roles in both television and cinema.
